BISA invites submissions for presentations to be given at this year’s conference and training event on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May 2013 at the Manx Museum, Douglas, Isle of Man.
What we’re looking for
Papers and presentations for Friday 17th and suggestions and offers for training/workshop sessions on Saturday 18th (morning).
Papers should be up to 30 minutes duration, allowing time for questions, and can be on any theme relevant to sound archives and archiving including.
• collection policy and practice
• selection, deselection and disposal
• access, publication, distribution and user services
• metadata, documentation and cataloguing
• preservation and digitisation
• copyright, ethical and ownership issues
• professional theory and practice
We encourage the use of audio and a/v (it is what we’re about, after all).
