Collection name: The Dreaming-Spires Quadraphonic Archive; Subjects: Classical Music; Popular Music & Jazz: After the introduction of stereo LP's in the 1960's, the record companies decided the next step was to produce music using four channels (which we now call surround sound). To enable four channels to be carried by a standard stereo LP there were various created, with varying degrees of success. By the end of the decade the record companies lost interest as the general public weren't ready to have an additional pair of speakers in their living rooms. Another reason for quads failure was the poor performance of the available decoders of the time, not living up to the claims by the producers. I have created my own decoding process's that allow highly accurate decodes of these albums allowing them to be heard as they were meant to be heard; items: Lacquer Disc,300 Vinyl Disc, 60 published CD,
