Collection name: Wilfred Bloor; Subjects: Language & Dialect: Wilfred Bloor (1915-1993) was born and bred in the Potteries. His interest in the North Staffordshire dialect led to his creation of the character Jabez. The collection comprises manuscripts and typescript articles, cuttings, correspondence and Jabez recordings (25 compact audio cassettes and 12 magnetic audio reels); items: 12 Open Reel Tape, 25 Compact Cassette, 2 published CD. Keele Oral History Project: Oral History, Documentary & News, Approximately 50 CDs of audio recordings created during the past decade by University alumni for the Keele Oral History Project and overseen by the Alumni Office. With 11 audio reels relating to the history of the University, recorded between 1950 and 1970, and a small number of compact audio cassettes of radio programmes about Keele. The magnetic tape has be converted to CD.
