Subjects: Oral History: A collection of oral history recordings which record memories of working life within the leather trade, but also life outside work. The earliest memories relate to 1917 and the collection is still growing. At present we have about 110 tapes, many of which have been transcribed. Some tapes remain on tape however which may not have been transcribed and we intend to rectify that failing. The recordings are mostly on tape but the last 20 or so have been made on disc.; items: 80 Compact Cassette, 20 Audio CD-R
