BISA is an organisation set up to facilitate the exchange of information on all practical aspects of audio archiving in Britain and Ireland and to co-ordinate activity deemed by the membership to be in support of their professional interests. 

Membership is free and anyone is welcome to contact us, attend our events and activities. Members come from all kinds of organisations across the archive sector, including research institutes and universities, libraries, museums and record centres, galleries, broadcasters, as well as private individuals. 

The BISA committee is a group of volunteers from within the BISA membership who co-ordinate the activities of BISA.
