Hosted by Fiontar at Dublin City University, BISA offers a compact day-and-a-half programme of presentations; knowledge exchange; the Saturday workshop session; networking opportunities and, of course, socialising with speakers and delegates from across Britain and Ireland.
On Friday 30th November 2007 the 3rd BISA Training Day was hosted by the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum (UFTM) at their headquarters in Cultra, Co. Down. The theme of the day’s presentations was documentation in sound archives, with papers delivered by the National Library of Scotland and the BBC, as well as an extra paper from the National Council on Archives on the subject of applying for external fund-raising.
